  • Grand Theft Auto V for Windows PC: Available. GTA V is available for Windows PC, offering a high-quality, customizable experience with stunning graphics and smooth gameplay. The game supports modding, allowing players to enhance their experience with community-created content. To enjoy the best performance, the game recommends having at least an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD X8 FX-8350 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card. It is available through platforms like Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 5: Available. The PlayStation 5 version of GTA V offers upgraded graphics, faster load times, and enhanced performance compared to its PS4 counterpart. Players can enjoy a more immersive experience with improved textures, lighting, and resolution. The game also offers exclusive features, including the ability to play in a more expansive and visually detailed world.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4: Available. GTA V is fully optimized for the PlayStation 4, providing a smooth and immersive open-world experience. It supports both single-player and online modes, with regular updates bringing new content to the game. The graphics are impressive, with fluid animations and intricate details, making it one of the most engaging open-world games available for the PS4.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox Series X/S: Available. On Xbox Series X/S, GTA V benefits from enhanced visuals, faster loading times, and smoother performance. The game supports a more detailed environment, making the experience even more immersive for players. Additionally, the Xbox Series X version supports 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, providing a next-gen experience.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One: Available. GTA V is available for Xbox One, offering players a rich and detailed open world. With frequent updates for the online multiplayer component, players can continue to enjoy new content and events in GTA Online. The game runs smoothly on Xbox One, and while the graphics are slightly downgraded compared to the Series X or PS5, it still delivers an excellent experience.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 3: Not available. GTA V was not released for PlayStation 3, as the hardware limitations of the console were not sufficient to handle the game's massive open world and detailed graphics. Players wishing to experience GTA V need to upgrade to a newer generation of PlayStation consoles.
  • Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox 360: Not available. Similar to the PlayStation 3, GTA V was not released for Xbox 360. Due to technical constraints, the game was not compatible with the older console. Players on Xbox 360 will need to switch to Xbox One or Series X/S to play GTA V.

  • Grand Theft Auto V for Stadia: Not available. Google Stadia did offer the game as part of its library, but due to the shutdown of Stadia in 2023, GTA V is no longer available on the platform.

In-Game Purchases
GTA V is available as a full game purchase, and players can also engage in microtransactions within GTA Online, the multiplayer component of the game. Players can purchase Shark Cards, which provide in-game money to buy vehicles, properties, clothing, and other items in GTA Online. These purchases are optional and do not impact the gameplay or experience in the single-player campaign.

Cheats and Mods in GTA V

  • Grand Theft Auto V Cheats: GTA V features a variety of cheat codes that can enhance the gameplay experience, such as unlocking vehicles, weapons, or health boosts. These cheats can be entered via the in-game phone or specific button combinations, and they are available in both single-player and GTA Online (with some restrictions in multiplayer).
  • Grand Theft Auto V Mods: GTA V supports mods on the PC version, with an active community creating a wide range of modifications. These mods can change anything from gameplay mechanics to graphics, as well as add new content such as vehicles, missions, and custom maps. While modding is encouraged in single-player, Rockstar Games has a strict policy against modding in GTA Online, and players using mods in the multiplayer mode may face bans or account suspensions.
