Mythical Island is designed to be a more compact set compared to its predecessor, Genetic Apex. It will include over 80 cards, featuring five ex cards, five Trainers, and at least two new Immersive Cards. While many details are still under wraps, both Mew ex and Aerodactyl ex are confirmed to be part of this new collection, alongside fresh designs of existing Pokémon and entirely new characters.

Launched on October 30, Pokémon TCG Pocket has become a notable success for Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company, generating approximately $200 million in its first month. Adopting a traditional mobile and free-to-play model, the game initially rewards players generously, but this tends to slow down, making in-game purchases the primary means to regain that initial excitement.
